GTS has amassed formidable experience in engineering geology, soils and rock mechanics, scour analysis, and foundation engineering for the design, inspection, and construction of projects. GTS has provided geotechnical recommendations and/or complete design services for determining appropriate foundation types, foundation elements, site preparation and grading, and construction procedures. In addition to providing analysis and design services, GTS is experienced in the use of detailed quality control procedures to monitor the construction of many types of earthen structures and foundations. GTS is skilled in traditional investigation methods as well as specialized state-of-the-art geophysical techniques. Our experience also includes field reconnaissance, preparation of drilling contracts, and specifications; supervision and inspection of subsurface exploration; and preparation of geologic logs, sections, and profiles.

To complement our geotechnical services, GTS also offers several types of  Geophysical services as an investigative tool to examine subsurface conditions, such as the depth of bedrock, location of groundwater aquifers, sinkholes, and objects such as tanks, drums, utility lines and pipes, and landfills. GTS has the capability of performing geophysical surveys using electromagnetic, resistivity, magnetic, and ground-penetrating radar technology, to name a few.

With an AMRL-certified, in-house soils and concrete testing facility, GTS offers a full complement of laboratory and inspection services to support our geotechnical projects or as a stand-alone service for clients.
