GTS performed engineering and environmental investigations consisting of hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to determine environmental and floodplain impacts for a proposed stream encroachment, stream relocation, stream enclosure and dam relocation on 5 conveyances within Berks County. This work was completed as part of the seven (7) mile Warren Street Extension (S.R. 0222) project, Cumru and Spring Townships and Wyomissing Borough in Berks County. Stormwater wet pond/wetland BMP treatment systems were incorporated into the plans. These systems required extensive floodplain evaluations and permit coordination. FGM/natural stream channel stabilization design techniques were applied to 1.5 miles of off-site Wyomissing Creek. Identification, e valuation and concept design of ten (10) acres of wetland replacement at three (3) locations was performed.
